Some weddings don’t just celebrate love—they feel like love, woven into every little moment. Lora and Andrew’s wedding day was exactly that: intimate, deeply personal, and filled with the kind of quiet magic that only comes from being surrounded by people (and pets!) who know your heart.
They were married on their own land in Black Earth, Wisconsin, a place that holds so much promise for the future. It’s where they plan to build their dream home, and on this day, it became the place where they said I do — beneath Lora’s favorite oak tree, with just a handful of their closest loved ones, and their two pets, Nova and Mona by their side.
Lora grew most of the florals herself (yes, she’s amazing) and teamed up with a florist friend to create a stunning ceremony installation under the oak tree. One of the sweetest details? Her grandmother was her flower girl — cue all the happy tears.
As they began their vows, a gentle rain started to fall, wrapping the moment in even more tenderness.
They exited the ceremony hand-in-hand, heading straight to her dad’s vintage car, which served as the perfect getaway ride. Later, they gathered with loved ones for an intimate dinner at The Harvey House in Madison—a warm, elegant space that felt like the perfect extension of the day: thoughtful, cozy, and full of love.
From the homegrown blooms to the raindrops to the presence of family (furry ones included), every moment felt intentional and uniquely them. It was such a joy to witness and document the beginning of this next chapter in a place they’ll one day call home.
